Thesedays, we cannot imagine a life without a smartphone, not even for a minute let alone an hour.
You might lose your house keys but it’s not easy to lose your smartphone.
That’s how much we always check our smartphones.
And the most common reason for using smartphones is for SNS (via survey results).
SNS (Social Network Service) that created the social network era is now transforming into a different form in the era of IoT and Makers. If we can now control Arduino through SNS, which is accessible from any device, we may have found the best IoT Solution to perform any desired operation in any environment.
In this post, there are 3 projects using SNS. They all utilize Arduino and Ethernet Shield.
As the title suggests, these are funny but useful projects.
If you have an Arduino platform board and an Ethernet shield, try to create your own IoT device using these projects for reference.
1. Kitty Twitty Cat Toy
Will you let your cat be bored alone? Now, you can play with your cat through Twitter wherever you are!
2. Tweet’n’kock – Tweeting the knock
This project will let you know through Twitter when someone knocks on your door.
Maybe I could know whenever someone is coming to my room through footstep if I set it up on the floor? I should try this!
3. Use Twitter and Weather to post notes and Temperature to Office Door
The device in this project informs weather information and temperature of the area where the device is installed at the appointed time through Twitter.
It is a pretty basic project, but certainly useful.
